Millennials rejoice! More than 15 years have passed since the hilarious Proud family graced our tv screens. But, now in 2021, they still haven’t aged.
On Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, streaming service Disney+ released the first official trailer for The Proud Family reboot titled “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”. The original show ran from 2001 to 2005 with the series reboot scheduled to hit the streaming service in February 2022.

Most of the original voices of the characters from The Proud Family will return including Kyla Pratt as Penny proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy proud, Jo Marie Payton as Suga Mama, Karen Malina White as Dikonay jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer and Alisa Reyes as LaCinenega Boulveardez and Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby Proud.

Now for the best part, we do have quite the list of celebrity entertainers scheduled to make guest appearances as themselves in the revival; including Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Chance the Rapper, Normani, Lesli Odom Jr., Tiffany Haddish, Lena Waithe, Anthony Anderson, Gabrielle Union, Debbie Allen, James Pickens Kr. Jane Lynch, Al Roker, Holly Robinson Peete, and more.

The popular streaming service, Disney+ is officially two and to celebrate the second anniversary of the streaming service, the company has announced a bunch of new shows and movies coming to the service.
The announcement comes in a series of tweets beginning with a new Ice Age film called “The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild,” releasing Jan 28, 2022.
Fans of Big Hero 6 will get a new original series based on the hit movie called “Baymax” which will be available next Summer.
Enjoyed the initial Cheaper by the Dozen? A new version will hit the service in March 2022. The new film will feature a multi-racial family. Cast members include Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff at the parents.
A sequel to “Enchanted” is coming to the service, fall 2022. It will be called “Disenchanted.” The original movie is on the platform now.

A new animated version of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” is hitting Disney+ on Dec. 3 along with an animated movie called “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Rodrick Rules” in 2022.

A documentary about the popular music group The Beatles is coming to Disney+ as part of a three-part series called “The Beatles: Get Back” Part I releases Nov. 25, and you can catch a sneak peek here.
“Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” will get a reboot as an original movie. Starring John Mulaney and Andy Samberg, the movie will be available starting in Spring 2022. Also in Spring 2022, An original movie called “Better Nate Than Ever” will star Aria Brooks, Michelle Federer, Rueby Wood, Norbert Leo Butz, Lisa Kudrow, and Joshua Bassett.
Fall of 2022 will shape to be a busy season. Hocus Pocus fans you are in for a treat. A sequel to the original will be coming next year. A live-action of Pinocchio will also be released in Fall 2022, starring Tom Hanks, Cynthia Ervo, Luke Evans. Special voices include Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Keegan-Michael Key, and Lorraine Bracco.
Marvel announced several new shows to hit the streaming service which include “X-Men 97,” “Moon Knight,” “She-Hulk,” “Ms. Marvel,” “Echo,” “Spider-Man: Freshman Year,” “I am Groot,” “Ironheart,” “Agatha: House of Harkness,” “Marvel Zombies,” and “Secret Invasion.”

It’s official, the hit Netflix TV Series “Squid Game” is coming back for season two. The creator and director said “I almost feel like you leave us no choice. There has been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season.”
Hwang Dong-hyuk continued “It’s in my head right now. I’m planning the process currently. But I do think it’s too early to say when and how that’s going to happen. So I will promise you this, Gi-hun will be back and he’ll do something for the world.”

The series starred Lee Jung-Jae as Gi-hun, an individual along with others desperate for money that they agree to take part in a series of schoolyard games but with a deadly twist to it.
While we have the green light on season 2, it is too early to tell when season 2 will be released. However, we do know Squid Game will continue to be the biggest show.
Make room on your DVRs because Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” 2021 movie lineup is officially here, and we’re so excited.
‘Tis the season for fuzzy socks, hoodies, sweatpants, blankets, and warm drinks. The highly anticipated programming block is celebrating 12 years of their Christmas programming with 41 new holiday movies this year.
The release of the 41-holiday movies will take place over the next three months beginning Friday, Oct. 22, with Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas.

The network streaming service “Hallmark Movies Now” will debut an original holiday movie for the first time.
Candace Cameron Bure, aka the queen of hallmark shared with U.S. Weekly this year, she’ll be starring in a movie with her fuller house co-star John Brotherton, who played Matt Harmon, DJ’s love interest during the show’s run. This brings the two back on our screens since the show went off the air for the first time.

Back this year for another film is The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls. Starring Robert Buckley, Ana Ayora, Jonathan Bennett, and Brad Harder. The Christmas House 2 brings Mitchell brothers to see who can create the best Christmas house. Originally aired in November 2020, The Christmas House was the first movie for the network to feature a same-sex couple prominently.
