Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas Line-Up Released

Adios spooky season and hello holiday movies.

Freeform has officially released its annual “25 Days of Christmas” schedule for the 2021 season.

The network begins the holiday season on December 1 with holiday programming classics like Home Alone and Dr.Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Other holiday classics on the schedule this season include Frosty The Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, A Christmas Carol. New this year will be the premiere of “Office Christmas Party”

Holiday Drinks and Food from Starbucks are Here

You know the holidays are close when you have the holiday movies on Hallmark Channel, Mariah Carey releasing her kickoff video for the holidays and now to top it all off Starbucks holiday red cups are here.

The popular coffee chain announced on Nov. 3, 2021, that their annual red cups will make their return to stores on Nov. 4, 2021. In a press release from Suzie Reecer, Starbucks associate creative director she shared “This holiday, we wanted it to feel magical, we wanted it to be warm, and we wanted it to be inclusive. Our goal was to really bring joy to every customer and every partner.”

She continued “The 2021 red cup designs, inspired by all the gifts of the season. They wrapped each of the four cup designs in classic shades of red, green, and white with hints of frosty lilac. As a finishing touch, they added a little gift tag on the back of each cup to create room for a cheerful message.”

Starbucks Holiday Menu this year includes

  • Peppermint Mocha
  • Toasted White Chocolate Mocha
  • Caramel Brulee Latte
  • Chestnut Praline Latte
  • Irish Cream Cold Brew

We also have a new drink joining the line-up this year. A new Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte. Available both iced and hot has a taste of home-baked holiday cookies and according to Starbucks features sugar cookie-flavored syrup and Starbucks Blonde Espresso all topped with red and green sprinkles. Yum.

Hallmark Channel Releases 2021 “Countdown to Christmas” Line Up

Make room on your DVRs because Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” 2021 movie lineup is officially here, and we’re so excited.

‘Tis the season for fuzzy socks, hoodies, sweatpants, blankets, and warm drinks. The highly anticipated programming block is celebrating 12 years of their Christmas programming with 41 new holiday movies this year.

The release of the 41-holiday movies will take place over the next three months beginning Friday, Oct. 22, with Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas.

The network streaming service “Hallmark Movies Now” will debut an original holiday movie for the first time.

Candace Cameron Bure, aka the queen of hallmark shared with U.S. Weekly this year, she’ll be starring in a movie with her fuller house co-star John Brotherton, who played Matt Harmon, DJ’s love interest during the show’s run. This brings the two back on our screens since the show went off the air for the first time.

Back this year for another film is The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls. Starring Robert Buckley, Ana Ayora, Jonathan Bennett, and Brad Harder. The Christmas House 2 brings Mitchell brothers to see who can create the best Christmas house. Originally aired in November 2020, The Christmas House was the first movie for the network to feature a same-sex couple prominently.

Where to Watch Fireworks for 4th of July

Fourth of July is tomorrow, and now is the time to finalize (or start making) those Fourth of July plans by scheduling where you will watch fireworks.

Here is a list of some areas where you can check out fireworks to close out the holiday.

San Diego Bay: The Big Bay Boom is back after taking a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The free firework show begins at 9 pm sharp. You can catch this memorable show at one of the four barges off Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero, and Seaport Village/Coronado Landing. More information available here.

Santee: As part of their annual Fourth of July event with food vendors, a concert, and a patriotic ceremony, Santee Salutes will conclude their event with Dual firework displays scheduled at 9 pm on July 4.

Oceanside: The Oceanside area will celebrate their firework show a day early, with their display happening on Saturday, July 3 at 9 pm. Activities before the display include music entertainment and food vendors. The viewing area for fireworks is on Rancho Del Oro Drive. Sea World (Central San Diego): Sea World will host the Independence Day Fireworks spectacular at SeaWorld. The 15-minute firework display is set to a patriotic soundtrack. For more information, check out the details here.

Camp Pendleton: Camp Pendleton will host a Beach Bash fireworks show beginning at 9:00 pm located at Del Mar Beach. Festivities before the fireworks run 6:00 am – 10:00 pm. The event is open to military families. Additionally, civilians are welcome with authorized personnel.

Coronado: The annual Coronado July 4th Celebration fireworks begin at 9 pm at Spreckels Park, and then the Big Bay Boom will be at Gloriette Bay. The Coronado Times reports that the traffic is heavy, so plan to walk or bike around Downtown Coronado. 

Escondido: Fireworks in the City of Escondido will begin at 9 pm. Traditionally the City has a large-scale event, however, this year will be fireworks only available for viewing from the Woodward Avenue parking lot with Grape Day Park remaining open past dusk, standard regulations remain in effect. Del Mar: San Diego County Fair 4th of July Celebration fireworks light up the sky beginning at 9 pm from the Del Mar Fairgrounds. For more information, check out their website here. 

Vista: The City of Vista 4th of July celebration starts at 9 pm, taking place at Brengle Terrace Park at 1200 Vale Terrace Drive. The park will open at 5 pm with a BBQ dinner taking place from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. For more information, please visit their website here

El Cajon: Fireworks in the City of El Cajon start at 9 pm at Kennedy Park with festivities starting at 1 pm. Kennedy Park located at 1675 E. Madison Ave. Visit their website here for more information.

Carlsbad: 4th of July at Legoland is back. The Red, White & Boom! Will include an All American family picnic, relay race, live performances, and firework show. To learn more, vist their website

Rancho Bernardo: If you’re in the Rancho Bernardo area, fireworks begin at 9 pm and located at Rancho Bernardo High School. Click here for more information.
