The annual return of Rolling Loud California is back, and better than ever. Californians were quick to clear out their schedules for the weekend of March 15-17 for this year’s lineup will have the grounds of Hollywood Park shaking. We are beyond ecstatic to announce we have been formally invited to cover the festival grounds next month. We understand that with huge festivals, it can be easy to overlook some names on the lineup. We’re here to put you on some of the artists you need to make the time to see during the packed weekend.

Friday

If you’re fans of melodic-rap artists such as Freddie Gibbs, Earl Sweatshirt, and Denzel Curry, you’re not going to want to miss Gat$. After catching his set, we plan on running to catch both female rappers Anycia and Lay Bankz’s sets. There’s just something about their voices and overall sound that is so pleasing to the ear that we can’t wait to hear live. Hyperpop sensation, Kanii, was able to snag a spot on this year’s lineup, which we’re super stoked about. We’d be even more stoked if he brought out Riovaz for ‘Heart Racing”. PartyNextDoor and Rae Sremmurd were two names on this lineup that genuinely had us so excited for the festival. Expect us to be bringing back the mannequin challenge in the crowd. There is no better way to end off the night then by celebrating Pink Friday with Nicki Minaj headlining on the mainstage.

Saturday

Kicking off Saturday afternoon, we plan on catching Jordan Ward’s set. With the release of his debut album last year, it’s no secret that 2023 was a huge year for him. After Jordan’s set, we plan on running over to Kalii’s set. The original lineup had a name covered, which was later revealed to be Ty Dolla $ign, and fans were quick to jump in the comment section of Rolling Loud’s socials to share how shocked they were. Flo Milli is a must see act. Her whole discography has been ingrained in our brains since 2020. Pi’erre Bourne, Big Sean, Summer Walker are all big names we were not expecting to be on the lineup. We love how Rolling Loud decided to incorporate more R&B artists, and we hope they continue to do so. Ending off Saturday night, we will be staying with headliner Post Malone

Sunday

Mike Sherm has been one of our guilty pleasure artists since middle school, and will be one of the first sets we will catch on Sunday. After Mike Sherm, we will be sure to catch 03 Greedo, and will hope he brings out Shoreline Mafia for “Trap House”. Chief Keef and Ski Mask the Slump God were two sets I had to miss at last year’s Rolling Loud, so this time around we will catch their sets. Bryson Tiller and Don Toliver are the two artists I’m the most excited to see out of the whole festival. Fun fact, I actually cried last year during Don Toliver’s set at Rolling Loud when he brought out “Bugatti Biebs” (I have an incurable case of Bieber fever). To end off the whole weekend, will be the debut Future x Metro Boomin set. Future headlined the festival last year, so we’re for his return, but Metro Boomin will add the perfect touches to make this set an unforgettable one.

Be sure to catch these artists as well as KCR College Radio at Hollywood Park for Rolling Loud 2024!
