Every stop on a tour carries its own energy, but some nights feel especially electric. That was the case when Last Dinosaurs brought their 2025 USA Tour to Observatory North Park in San Diego for their fifth show on February 27, 2025. With support from Jasper Bones and Tipling Rock, the night delivered an unforgettable experience for fans.

Jasper Bones set the tone with a dark, moody solo performance. Bathed in the dim glow of a few stage lights, his set created an intimate, almost lounge-like atmosphere. His presence made an impact, drawing the audience into his melancholic soundscapes.

Then came Tipling Rock, shifting the mood with their signature “beach pop” sound. From the moment they stepped on stage, their infectious energy radiated throughout the venue. Frontman Ben Andre and bassist Dillon Salkovitz kept the crowd engaged, moving dynamically as they performed hits like “miss me if u want to,” “Low Tide Love,” and “Staring,” all while their neon-lit band logo glowed in the background.

When Last Dinosaurs took the stage, the excitement reached new heights. Before diving into their set, rhythm guitarist Sean Caskey told the crowd, “I’ve got a good feeling about tonight,” setting the tone for what was to come. The band delivered a high-energy 21-song setlist, heavily featuring tracks from Yumeno Garden (2018) and their latest album, KYORYU.

During the show, lead guitarist Lachlan Caskey shared his personal connection to San Diego, revealing that he has a soft spot for the city since he once lived in Escondido. The crowd responded enthusiastically, embracing the moment before the band launched into one of their most popular tracks, “Italo Disco,” which included a portion sung in Spanish as a nod to their diverse audience. As the night drew to a close, they returned for an encore performance of “Andy,” leaving fans buzzing with excitement.

With more dates in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico before the tour wraps up on March 29, tickets are selling fast. Fans hoping to catch the band live can find remaining tickets on their official website.
