One random morning early in August, billboards of tweets flooded the streets of San Diego. Something interesting to note is that all these tweets had something in common – they were all by fans of ISOxo and Knock2 who were insinuating the duo had forgotten about their roots. As these billboards started to get noticed by fans, posters and spray painted logos of theirs were being spotted all over the city as well. While fans were quick to share pictures of the sightings, the theories about what was in the works bombarded social media.

ISOKNOCK, the collaborative project of ISOxo and Knock2, single handedly changed the EDM scene. Meeting at the San Diego County Fair as teenagers while performing on the same local stage, they now live out a fantasy best friends could only dream of – performing and selling out shows worldwide together. Two weeks after ISOKNOCK’s branding was spotted all around San Diego, the rumors were shut down when San Diego 4evr, the first ever ISOKNOCK headline festival, was announced. Selling out instantly, their upcoming homecoming event will be their biggest headlining show yet with 28,000 attendees. This outdoor two-day event, taking place December 7 and December 8 at Thrive Park at Snapdragon Stadium, will be one for the books. I am ecstatic to finally announce I have been invited to cover the weekend, and I’ll be sharing with you my top 3 acts on the San Diego 4evr lineup!

The EDM band’s distinctive blend of trance, witch house, electroclash, and more has led to their exponential growth. Famously known for taking part in indie sleaze’s revival, they range from underground shows to sold out festivals. With two collaborations with A-list rapper Lil Uzi Vert already, the recognition they are getting is well deserved.

Bassvictim
You know how people say the best friendships start when you first meet and instantly dislike one another? Well, that’s the start of London’s hottest electronic duo, Maria Manow and Ike Clateman’s story. The name came from an experience Ike had at a club. The sub bass was so intense, he jotted this note in his Iphone while out: “ I am making out with the bass. I’m inside the bass. Torture bass. Tortured by the bass. Bass torture. Bass victim.” Now, we are all victims of bass, the same way Ike was.
